Aguilar, Kings stamp class vs FiberXers in San Fernando gig

JAPETH Aguilar won his side battle with Justine Baltazar in the Barangay Ginebra-Converge duel in front of their cabalens in San Fernando, Pampanga.

Aguilar didn't disappoint, and the entire Ginebra team played without let up, outclassing the FiberXers, 85-66, in a Saturday showcase at the Bren Guiao Convention Center in the Pampanga capital.

The Ginebra center/forward from Sasmuan town played an inspired game, pouring in 23 points and leading the Kings to a domination of the FiberXers on the way to a third win against two losses.

Scottie Thompson, RJ Abarrientos and Stephen Holt contributed at least 12 points each as the Gin Kings once again bounced back from a loss while snapping the FiberXers' three-game streak.

Baltazar was good for only 13 points in his Bren Guiao Convention Center homecoming. And with practically the whole Converge team contained, the FiberXers went down to sixth place with a 4-3 slate.
