AT least three firms expressed interest to join Asia's first professional league.
Commissioner Willie Marcial made the disclosure after the three potential teams personally reached out to him. Two of which already sent their respective Letter Of Intent (LOI) and even visited the PBA office.
Marcial though, wouldn't reveal the name of the three firms which are initially planning to enter the league as expansion teams.
Days ago, talks with Terrafirma's possible replacement, Starhorse Shipping Lines, failed to materialize.
Starhorse, according to Marcial, failed to comply with several requirements needed to acquire an existing franchise, specifically on the financial side.
