RAIN or Shine downed PBA All-Star Dark, 70-50, to secure the last quarterfinal berth in the Batang PBA 14-Under Division Wednesday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Jhyssen Aedric Isada and John Viencel Rato teamed up with 11 and 10 points, respectively, as the Batang Elasto Painters (3-1) prevailed in the crucial duel to finish second behind unbeaten San Miguel (4-0) in Group B.
All Star Dark, despite the 10 points each of Arthgian Karunungan and Kiefer Lambert Panganiban, finished the elims with a 2-2 mark.
In Group D, playoff-bound Blackwater Red President came through with another easy 102-37 win against listless All Star Light (0-4) to complete a 4-game sweep.
Nickson Andwele Caba?ero and Mhale Jhello Lumague scored 14 points each and Lawrence Matthew Knowles had 12 each in the 65-point win.

Meanwhile in the 12-Under matches, quarterfinalist and unbeaten Sista (4-0) topped Group C following a 100-32 rout of Purefoods (1-3) while Magnolia (2-2) beat NLEX (0-4), 57-31, in the battle of also-ran squads in Group B.
Yhanz Kraiffer Selom fired 14 points while Peter Sebastian Ibe added 12 for the Batang Super Sealers.
