BIG men Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser and Poy Erram acknowledged it's their task to defend, hold, and limit reigning MVP June Mar Fajardo in the coming PBA Philippine Cup finals.
But as both of them stressed too, San Miguel is not just about the 6-foot-10 Fajardo.
Ganuelas-Rosser and Erram pointed out the deep talent the Beermen have in their disposal that trying to contain the 35-year-old Fajardo would not be enough to stop the top seeded team.
"Hindi lang naman si June Mar yung kailangan mong bantayan," said Erram, 36, who has battled Fajardo in several championship series in the past.
"Yung team nila, they're really talented. And alam naman natin, si June Mar attracts a lot."

For BGR, it's his first time to duel the league's only eight-time MVP in a title series, and he said it's going to be a great challenge.
"With June Mar, you just got to make him work, try to get him out of his spot," said Ganuelas-Rosser, who's also playing in his first ever finals.
He did agree with Erram though, the Beermen doesn't rely on Fajardo alone. And by that, the Tropang 5G also need to work as a unit to stop the San Miguel juggernaut.
"It's not just one player, not just me and Poy, It's going to take the whole team," said the Fil-Am center. "We talked about team defense a lot. It's something that we rely on."
Game 1 of the title series is set on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. (RG)
