POY Erram wouldn't mind taking a backseat in favor of Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser, whose impact has been felt throughout TNT's run to the PBA Philippine Cup Finals.
Ganuelas-Rosser's has made his presence felt since returning from an ACL injury, providing a jolt to a Tropang 5G side that started the conference with an alarming 0-3 start and bucked a twice-to-win disadvantage in the quarters while dealing with a rash of injuries.
"Hindi kami napapagod kasi nandyan na siya," Erram said of Ganuelas-Rosser. "Siyempre extra body siya at malaking bagay yung game niya na may aggressiveness at intensity. Kung ako patakbo-takbo lang, siya marami pwedeng gawin sa court."
The younger brother of former TNT energy guy Matt Ganuelas-Rosser averaged 9.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 11 games. His minutes increased from 13 in the eliminations to 26 in the semis where he played a key role as the Tropang 5G eliminated the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in six games.
Undeniably, his play complements what Erram and Kelly Williams, who remains doubtful for Game 1 of the title series against San Miguel Beer, have been providing for TNT, not only in the conference or the season, but in the last few years.

No wonder Ganuelas-Rosser enjoys long minutes on the floor during crucial stretches while Erram is reduced to substitute.
"Siyempre, I'm accepting the fact that I'm not young anymore," said the 36-year-old Erram. "But may mga times that I have to be ready kasi minsan kailangan pa rin ako ni Coach Chot.
"At kahit gamitin niya si Brandon, kailangan ko rin maging leader at marinig yung boses ko from the bench kasi may mga nakikita ko while sitting down na pwede ko sabihin sa kanila." (JT)
