RAIN or Shine coach Yeng Guiao sees Stanley Pringle bringing experience and veteran stability to a young Elasto Painters team
"Malaking bagay yung experience ni Stanley lalo na to a young team like us," said Guiao of the Fil-Am guard which Rain or Shine landed on Tuesday through the free agency list.
Pringle was signed to a two-year contract by the Elasto Painters three months before PBA Season 50 kicks off.
Despite being 38 years old, Guiao still considers Pringle good enough to help the franchise in its bid to make it to the next level after four successive semifinals appearances.
"May asim pa yan. May asim pang mapipiga diyan," said the Rain or Shine coach.

A four-time champion and former Best Player of the Conference, Pringle last played for Terrafirma in the last two tournaments of Season 49 including the Philippine Cup after being acquired in a trade with Barangay Ginebra together with Christian Standhardinger for the duo of Stephen Holt and Isaac Go.
His contract with the Dyip franchise expired last month and became an automatic unrestricted free agent, who later opted to take his act to Rain or Shine.
Of course, Pringle is already familiar with Guiao's system.
"Naglaro na siya under me sa Gilas (Pilipinas). So kabisado niya na rin naman ako," said the veteran coach, who had Pringle in the lineup during his stint with the national team in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta.
Rain or Shine officially announced the acquisition of the former no. 1 overall pick in its Facebook page.
