PBA Season 50 will be a grand celebration not just at home but with Filipino fans abroad.
The PBA board of governors, in a meeting Wednesday, approved official games in Dubai on Oct. 25 and in Bahrain on Dec. 15 and 17.
PBA commissioner Willie Marcial said the league is now also in the process of sealing deals to bring games in Abu Dhabi, Doha, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and in New York.
At home, the golden season will likely be spiced by games featuring guest teams from Macau, Hong Kong and Indonesia.
"They're all interested to play in the PBA, and the board is willing to accept their participation. Pwede ngang silang tatlo," said Marcial.

"Malamang sa import-laced conference. Hindi pa lang natin alam kung sa Governors' Cup o sa Commissioner's Cup," Marcial added.
Meanwhile, the Meralco Bolts will have their international sorties outside the PBA official games abroad. The Bolts will represent the PBA in the coming EASL season.
The PBA opted to field just one team this time since the EASL is to expand its calendar.
