RR Pogoy, Calvin Oftana and Poy Erram picked up from where they left off the last time and fueled a fourth straight win by TNT Tropang 5G in a 111-103 drubbing of Rain or Shine Wednesday night at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
Combining for 74 points in a 101-84 win over the Meralco Bolts on May 11, Pogoy, Oftana and Erram provided an even more explosive firepower versus ROS as the Tropang 56 sustained their hot turnaround from a 0-3 conference start even with Rey Nambatac joining Jayson Castro in the sideline.
Pogoy erupted for 35 points, Erram sizzled with a career-high 31 while Oftana drilled in 28 to repulse the Elasto Painters and force a deadlock between themselves at sixth place at 4-3 in the PBA Philippine Cup elims.
The E-Painters came out strong and led by as many as 14 (31-17) in the first quarter but tapered off in the fourth quarter with Caelan Tiongson once again confined on the sideline and Adrian Nocum taking an early exit after twisting a foot.
It was a back-and-forth game before Pogoy, Oftana, Erram and Simon Enciso teamed up in a decisive 20-4 run to flatten coach Yeng Guiao's chargers.

Oftana highlighted his 28-point sizzler with four triples, the last all but sealing their victory at 104-92.
TNT had a sudden explosion, hitting six treys in all in its 34-29 roll in the closing period.
It would be remembered that the Tropang 5G had a remarkable 16-of-32 clip from the three-point area in their last outing while the Elasto Painters dropped 15-of-31 in their 119-105 conquest of the previously unbeaten Magnolia Hotshots on Sunday.
This time, the E-Painters were held to just 10-of-30.
Andre Caracut tossed in 20 markers, Gian Mamuyac 18, Jhonard Clarito 17 and Keith Datu 10 for the losing side.
