2027 FIBA World Cup qualifiers draw set in Qatar

GILAS Pilipinas will get to know the teams it will play and where and when as FIBA holds the formal drawing of lots for the 2027 World Cup qualifiers.

The event is set Tuesday (May 13) at the Al Hazm in Doha, Qatar.

Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas Executive Director Erika Dy said Gilas deputy coach Sean Chambers will attend the drawing of lots in behalf of the men's national team.

"Coach Sean Chambers will be representing us to the draw," she said.

"We still don't know if we're playing home or away. We don't know which bracket we belong to and kung sino ang makakalaban natin."
