A month after winning a second straight crown in the season, TNT is on a tailspin, its grand slam aspiration in danger of dissipating.
The Tropang 5G are off to a faltering 0-3 start in the season-ending PBA Philippine Cup.
They're out of sync and then they're to face June Mar Fajardo and the solid San Miguel Beer team in a Sunday 7:30 p.m. mainer at the Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo.
"I don't know how we can compete against San Miguel on Sunday playing this way," said TNT coach Chot Reyes after reeling to a third loss in a row at the hands of the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters Friday over at the Ynares Center over in Montalban.
Meanwhile, the Beermen will try to start a run again on the heels of a 104-93 drubbing of the Barangay Ginebra Kings Friday - a bounceback effort from a 95-98 ambush by the Magnolia Hotshots.

Beaten by NLEX, Converge then Phoenix, Reyes is at a lost on how can they handle the Beermen.
"Well, I wish I had some answer for you, but I myself couldn't figure it out," said Reyes on their sudden skid after winning the Governors' Cup then the Commissioner's Cup.
Of course, they're missing the impact of Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, but Reyes couldn't understand the missing chemistry and togetherness of his team.
"We're not just playing together, there's no connectedness, there's absolutely no chemistry inside, players are playing selfish basketball," Reyes lamented.
And it's definitely a big, big challenge for Calvin Oftana, RR Pogoy, Rey Nambatac, Poy Erram and Kelly Williams how can they put things together to have a chance at beating the Beermen.

Coach Leo Austria's troops should have been perfect at 4-0 if not for their endgame meltdown versus the Hotshots.
Before that, the Beermen won their first two games over NLEX (98-89) and Meralco (110-98).(SB)
